Tyre Buffing Machine
I. Equipment Definition and Principle
Definition : Equipment specifically designed for retreading, repairing, or surface treatment of tire treads by physically grinding out aged/damaged rubber layers to reconstruct the tread structure of the tire.
How it works :
Power system : Servo motor drives diamond grinding wheel to rotate at high speed (2000-6000rpm adjustable)
Positioning mechanism : Pneumatic clamping device holds the tire, XYZ three-axis numerical control system controls the grinding trajectory
Closed-loop control : Laser rangefinder real-time monitoring of tread thickness, dynamic adjustment of grinding pressure (0.1-5N precise output)
II. Operating Procedure Specifications (Safety Version)
1.Preprocessing
Test the tire pressure and deflate it to below 0.5bar
Remove metal foreign objects from the tread (to prevent damage to the grinding wheel)
2.Equipment setup
Select the grinding wheel grit size (30 mesh /60 mesh /120 mesh) according to the tire specification
Set the grinding depth threshold (it is recommended that it be ≤ 30% of the tread thickness)
3.Emergency brake
Double-button linkage emergency stop design (EN ISO 13850 certification)
Overload automatic power-off protection (current threshold 15A)
III. Industry Application Cases
1.Green circular economy
The comprehensive cost of retreaded tires has been reduced by 40%, and the utilization rate of rubber materials has increased to 85%
2.Specialty vehicles field
Enhanced grinding of the tire tread for mining vehicles (adding a 3mm wear-resistant layer)
3.Aviation Ground services
Anti-static treatment of aircraft tires (surface roughness Ra≤6.3μm)
IV. Additional options
Smart Upgrade package : AI visual inspection module is added to automatically identify tire brand and match grinding parameters
Environmental protection solution : Supporting rubber powder recycling system (particle size > 0.5mm can be remolded into sound insulation material)
If further refinement of a certain part is needed (such as electrical schematic diagrams, fault code manuals, etc.), specific directions can be provided.
